P.s. Did I ever even mention that I definitely had an internship? I definitely have an internship. I’ll be working with McIntosh & Otis, the amazing literary agency that represents the likes of Madeleine L’engle, Upton Sinclair, and Steinbeck. They worked with Disney on Race to Witch Mountain, one of my favorite movies as a kid. Basically I’m ridiculously excited.

Update: My hair is blue, I’ve started watching Community, and I don’t sleep anymore.
Sometimes I wonder if we spend so much of our lives wanting things that we just end up with a nameless, faceless yearning in the end. Things and people we’ve lost, or never had to begin with, all blurring together into one big, bittersweet hole in your heart.
